EGO Power+ SNT2122 21-Inch Single-Stage (2× 4Ah) Review
The affordable way into EGO's snow line: the 21-inch Peak Power single-stage with two 4Ah batteries and a fast charger.

The verdict
The SNT2122 is the same 21-inch Peak Power platform as EGO's flagship with a smaller battery kit — two 4Ah packs and a 320W charger — at a price that competes with gas single-stage machines. It has the same push-button start, LED lights, handle-mounted chute control, and wet-snow torque; it just runs for less time per charge. For a one- or two-car paved driveway in moderate snow, that's exactly the right trade.
Typical price: ~$749 (typical street price — current price shown on Amazon)
Buy on AmazonWhat we like
- +Peak Power dual-battery torque — throws wet snow, not just powder
- +21-inch path with LED headlights and handle-mounted chute control
- +Two 4Ah packs plus a 320W rapid charger in the box
- +Light enough to lift and store on a wall bracket
- +Batteries cross over to EGO's mower, trimmer, and blower
What to know
- −Roughly half the runtime of the 7.5Ah kit — a sidewalk-plus-driveway tool
- −Not auger-propelled; you push it like a standard single-stage
- −Paved surfaces only, ~13-inch intake
- −Runtime falls in deep cold
Full review
EGO's snow line is tiered by battery, not by machine. The SNT2122 gives you the same 21-inch housing, Peak Power dual-battery drive, and push-button, LED-lit, handle-aimed-chute experience as the more expensive auger-propelled model, paired with two 4Ah packs (about 450 Wh) and a fast 320W charger. On a typical two-car driveway in 6–8 inches, that's comfortably one charge; in a foot of wet snow on a long driveway you'll be glad the charger is quick.
What you notice in use is the torque. Single-battery cordless throwers slow when the snow gets heavy; EGO draws from both packs at once, so the auger keeps its speed and the snow keeps going 25–30 feet. You push it like a normal single-stage — it's not self-propelled — but at this weight that's no hardship. The chute rotates from the handle and the lights are bright enough to matter.
The value story is strongest if you already own EGO tools; the batteries in this kit run the mower all summer, and the snow blower's marginal cost becomes the bare tool. If you don't, it's still a fair price for the convenience of never buying gas or mixing oil. Just match it to the right driveway: paved, moderate snow, modest length. Bigger than that, step up to the 7.5Ah auger-propelled kit or the SNT2800.
Best for: Paved one- to two-car driveways and walkways in moderate-snow regions, and anyone already on the EGO platform who wants a capable snow tool for the least money.
