Our verdict
Same job, different power cord. The Snow Joe plugs in and costs $250; the EGO runs on two 4Ah batteries, costs three times as much, and brings real wet-snow torque, push-button start, and no cord to manage. If you already own EGO batteries or hate cords, the SNT2122 is an upgrade you'll feel every storm. If $500 matters more, the Snow Joe clears the same driveway.
